An iPhone, a blackberry, two laptops and too many notebooks to count…no wonder I’m a bit scattered at the moment. I’m working out a plan to streamline the mess, which of course for me starts with some online shopping!! On my gadget wishlist today:

Hello friends! Here I sit at home – patiently awaiting the arrival of our first baby. Who is either apparently going to have an extreme personality – either very Zen-like and calm (fingers crossed!) OR very stubborn and strong-willed. The due date has come and gone and the little one sits snug and quiet, showing no signs of coming out to meet his/ her anxious parents!! Oh well! In the meantime, I’ve been catching up on all things web and ~~wasting~~ enjoying lots of time reading, window shopping and bookmarking future craft projects and recipes (for when I have some free time around about – say, oh, 2013.) A few favorites from the week so far:

Hello bloggy friends! I’m so sorry for my absence – life has been so amazingly FULL lately that I’ve had to let a few things fall to the wayside. Regular blog posting being one of them. I’ll try to be back a little more often this fall, but with the arrival of baby Sones fast approaching – I’m not making any promises:) In the meantime - I wanted to share some soothing eye candy with you this Tuesday.

A shop I’ve long adored – but recently rediscovered, Olive Manna, is proving to be a great site for nursery inspiration! After spying this nursery nook on ohdeedoh, I immediately hopped over to Olive Manna’s shop to track down some must-have supplies.

A few of my current obsessions are shown here – don’t you think they’d make the perfect finishing touches for a nursery? Soothing for baby and mom…

If you’re needing a bit of a pick-me-up this Monday, check out this new-to-me color palette generator! Found over the weekend through Creature Comforts, I’ve become officially obsessed as it feeds my love for all things color.

I can think of so many ways to use this great tool – to match a palette for a room, to build a mood board for an outfit, to plan a color theme for a party…oh the possibilities!!

I’ll be spending many a color-loving minutes on this lovely find…

Happy Friday Friends! I’m looking forward to a weekend of relaxing and hanging out with my some of my best girlfriends.

*I’ve got nursery on the brain with the arrival of the littles sones coming quickly this fall. See all my nursery inspiration here.

*I’m currently re-reading this, but can’t wait to finish it so I can read this. What’s on your summer reading list?

*It’s berry season and I’m looking forward to my first picking experience later this month. I’m still obsessed with making jams this year…

*On my cooking to-do list: these oatmeal muffins, sweet corn pancakes or these peanut butter chocolate bars.
