What if Wednesday: Penelope Cafe NYC

What if Wednesday’s are dedicated to the dream…the never gonna-happen, but oh the fun in thinking. Today’s post is about a favorite breakfast (or lunch…or dinner) spot in NYC. Penelope Cafe is the perfect spot for a brunch with friends. Casual, eclectic and staffed by people who you want to be – or at least be friends with. I love the Penny Egg sandwhich, but truly everything here from the Welcome Home sign that greets as you enter, to the mis-matched cofffee mugs, to the simply prepared food is delightful.

Three Simple Things…Organization

3 things to love…
Moleskine notebooks. The most durable notebook I’ve found – and a favorite among journalists, artists and poets for 2 centuries! I’ve veered from my standard black squared to the new daily planner in vibrant red! Love…
Papermate sharpwriter retractable pencils. The only pencil I’ll use, I love it’s clean lead lines, it’s width and weight in the hand – and usually it’s soft eraser. I have gotten a few duds which just smudge the lead into the paper.
Project envelopes
. I love that you can see the project inside and keep all your bits together for the task at hand.

Nested Tuesday…Poster Love

I’ve been looking for some art to liven up our mostly neutral walls. I love these graphic posters from Etsy in all their colored splendor!

All images from etsy.com. Featured sellers from left to right:
