I’m really loving the metallic trend for spring, especially in small doses. In accessories it’s a great way to update your look to add glamour, a bit of edge or just plain fun! A few pieces that have made it on my spring must-haves list so far this season:

I’m not much of a baker…something about the exact, precise measurements and the painful process of waiting just doesn’t mesh well with my style. BUT, I’m willing to reconsider all of this for these yum-i-licious treats that I want to make soon. Or, if you’re a baker, you could make them and send one my way:) Top of my list is the brownies above from Bakerella…they actually look easy enough for me to master.

I’ll save this one for a day when I’m feeling a bit more confident in my baking skills…but I’ve lately become obsessed with the heavenly combo of caramel + sea salt. If you haven’t tried this yet, stop what you’re doing and track some down now.

A someday dream of mine is to open a small little shop that carries all the things that fancy my heart. Paper, home goods, accessories, gifts, handmade goodies and other lovelies. Until that day, I love admiring other people’s wonderful work and today I wanted to share one of my current faves with you. Brook Farm General Store opened in June 2009 and is based in Brooklyn, New York. They carry the most amazing assortment of new and vintage finds. I love their edited and focused collection of home goods. So well curated and always want-worthy. These items are at the top of my list:

40 boxes, a weekend with a U-Haul and one sore back later and we’re in the new house. And for the first time, my husband and I will be sharing a closet. I’m not sure who’s dreading this more. Needless to say, I’m in need of major organization tips. Where to turn, but to Martha Stewart? These images and articles provided some inspiration to help me whip our shared 10 square feet of space into something beautiful, organized and easy to maintain. At least I’m hoping…
