Wow! Two years…isn’t it funny how your entire life comes down to moments that you’ll remember forever? And those moments seem both like they happened yesterday, and years ago at the same time? Two years ago today, I was saying “I do” to my wonderful husband surrounded by those I love the most in life. What a happy day! And what a happy life ever since…
The traditional gift for second anniversary is cotton – and boy – do I love cotton! I’ve rounded up a few gift ideas for the modern guy.
A quirky bandanna handkerchief. The perfect overnight bag (that I can’t wait to borrow!) A staple plaid shirt – perfect for a casual look. Fun socks to hide underneath that otherwise serious suit.

As the stores are starting to stock supplies galore, denim in tall stacks and the school across from me is getting spruced up in all it’s glory – it can only mean that the dreaded end of summer is near! Back to school is just around the corner.
And even though I won’t be headed back to school this fall (or any fall ever again:) I can’t help but be tempted by all of the great grown-up backpacks taking over the fashion scene.
I love this look for a casual about town day…you?

I love them in leather, in canvas, even in nylon.

The mix of feminine details with a touch of masculinity has me in love with fashion this season! The sumptuous sequin, lace and delicate colors mixed with the just the right touch of tough is a look I’ll be sporting again and again this fall. My favorite feminine pieces + a few wear all season long staples.

Travel nostalgia has officially set in. I’m visiting beautiful Montana this week and am reminded of a three week RV trip I took from Oklahoma to Oregon with my grandparents. I remember the glorious KOA campgrounds we stayed in – each with a swimming pool! The music, the diners…oh the fun Seems I’m not the only one enamored with vintage travel…check out these wonderful Etsy products to bring the travel bug home.
